How to judge if your rotors should be replaced
Ordinary steel brake discs are generally used in family cars. Under normal circumstances, it is better to replace them once the driving mileage reaches 60,000-70,000 kilometers. The specific time should be judged according to the driver's car habits, car use occasions, freiquency and other factors. Here are a few tips that can be used to judge whether the brake rotors need to be replaced.
Tip one is based on the number of replacements of the brake pads. After the brake pads are replaced 2-3 times, you may need to pay attention to the brake discs, because they are relatively worn.
The second way is to listen to the sound. When braking, if you can hear the sound of "sasa", the owner may need to see if the brake disc needs to be replaced.
The third way is to check whether there are grooves or small pits on the brake disc, and then measure them randomly. If the depth reaches about 1.5mm, the owner may go to a repair shop or 4s shop to check the brake disc.
